Landfill and Transfer Station
The City operates a solid waste transfer station for the disposal of residential and commercial trash, and a landfill for yard waste and construction debris. The transfer station is located at 6310 Burnt Poplar Road. The landfill is at 2503 White Street. A recycling drop-off center is also located at the landfill.

Recyclables are taken to FCR Inc. for sorting and processing.
