Music Education
Learn about the City's extensive instructional program that includes the Music Center’s Suzuki Program, Kindermusik of Greensboro’s City Arts, traditional music and instrumental study.
Music Programs/Performing Opportunities
The Music Center presents “Music for a Sunday Evening in the Park,” and “OPUS.” Also provided are performing opportunities for all ages through Greensboro’s community groups - the Choral Society of Greensboro, Philharmonia of Greensboro Orchestra, the Greensboro Concert Band, Greensboro Children’s Chorus, Greensboro Youth Chorus, Cantabile Singers, the Greensboro Big Band and the Piedmont Trombone Guild.
Outreach and Multicultural Programs
Outreach efforts include collaboration with cultural and ethnic organizations, providing performance opportunities for local and regional ethnic artists, presenting ethnic art forms, organizing programs and classes to promote cultural awareness, recruiting ethnic instructors and artists, and serving as a resource to community event planners.
