The "Ready Readers" program is a monthly event for young readers that highlights popular book series that children love. Each event includes selections read aloud by the librarian from favorite books, followed by a craft or activity, and book recommendations.

This month’s book series is Isla of Adventure by Dela Costa. Come hear about the series and other books like it, then make a beaded gecko lanyard, design an island craft, and play a banana piano!

To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we will also be learning Spanish vocabulary for the fruits and animals featured in this series. 

This program is recommended for ages 5 - 8, but all ages are welcome.
