Teen Advisory Group Meeting

Calling All Library Teens!

  • CostFree

Earn your Service-Learning hours at Greensboro Public Library this school year!

Guilford County teens: Join us for this session of the Teen Advisory Group! We meet every other Thursday, 5:30 - 7 PM to discuss teen programs, services, and collections. Afterschool snacks are provided. If you have a laptop, please bring it with you.

Today, we will be meeting in the Tannenbaum Room

What does being a Teen Advisor involve?
Creating and implementing teen programs at the Central Library.
Establishing a comfortable, interactive, and teen-driven YA space through book displays and Take-and-Make kits.
Maintaining and promoting library resources that benefit you and your peers.
- Collaborating and community-building with other enthusiastic library teens and the broader Greensboro community.
Gaining hands-on leadership experience while earning Service-Learning hours, building your résumé, and enhancing your college applications.

Don't miss this opportunity to make your mark at the Greensboro Public Library! Students ages 12 - 18 of all different perspectives, skill sets, and interests are encouraged to join. New members are always welcome.

This is a great leadership opportunity for your future applications and résumés, and you will be eligible to log your participation as Service-Learning hours.

If you have questions, reach out to Immanuel Eggers for more information.
