2026 New Play Project Winner – “Power, Money and Sex… Oh Yeah, and Love”
This dark comedy is an “almost musical,” with characters as relatable as they are disturbed. Set in a fictionalized Gilded Age, the story is full of treachery, greed, murder, scheming, Ouija boards, phantoms, a newspaper dress… oh yeah, and love.

Ivy Thompson: 50’s. African American. Female ladies maid at the Thistleway mansion. Nathan’s mother.
Nathan Thompson: 20’s. African American. Male. Grounds-Keeper for the Thistleway mansion. Ivy’s son.
