We bid you welcome to the Haunted Hemphill Branch's Frightful Film Festival, a month-long marathon of monstrous horror films, classic and contemporary!
Our lineup of spooky favorites offer something for ghouls and ghosts of every age. Each screening for adults will feature a short presentation on the history, importance, or cultural context of the film. Each screening for kids will feature coloring sheets and spooky fun facts.
Join us on Wednesday October 1 at 6 pm for a screening of One Missed Call (2003) directed by Takashi Miike. This film is presented in collaboration with Hemphill's Manga Mania Book Club, a monthly casual book club for fans of Japanese manga.
