We bid you welcome to the Haunted Hemphill Branch's Frightful Film Festival, a month-long marathon of monstrous horror films, classic and contemporary! 

Our lineup of spooky favorites offer something for ghouls and ghosts of every age. Each screening for adults will feature a short presentation on the history, importance, or cultural context of the film. Each screening for kids will feature coloring sheets and spooky fun facts. 

Join us on Wednesday October 8 at 6 pm for a screening of Beetlejuice (1988) directed by Tim Burton. This film is presented in collaboration with Hemphill's Drink and Draw program and will feature a draw-along inspired by the movie!
