The City of Greensboro is joining the towns of Davidson and Chapel Hill, in partnership with EarthShare North Carolina, in the "Sustainability Showdown: A Local Government and Community Challenge," a two-week friendly competition designed to spark sustainable habits and celebrate community action.

From Monday, September 8, to Friday, September 19, residents are invited to take part in the challenge by logging eco-friendly activities, such as conserving energy, reducing waste, and choosing greener ways to commute.

Every action earns points, helping Greensboro earn the title of Most Sustainable Community! Prizes will be awarded to top participants.
