Join us to celebrate National Fishing and Boating week with our annual Children's Fishing Tournament at Lake Higgins!
Kids ages 6-12 will be catching fish in the Taylor Turner Hatchery pond located next to the marina. This event is free and limited to the first 40 participants to register. Bait and poles will be provided. Children must use our equipment for this tournament.
Trophies will be given out in 4 categories. Prizes, and goodie bags will also be given out to all participants.
This event is not a teaching event. Participants need to be familiar with using a fishing pole. Parents are not allowed to fish for the kids but they can assist with taking any fish caught off the hook.
