A landfill is a permanent resting place for waste. At Greensboro's White Street Landfill only construction and demolition waste is accepted. Learn what a landfill is, how it's made, and what it looks like. Is it big? Is it stinky? Do animals live there? Bonus site: Come see what happens to Greensboro's yard waste at the large scale composting site. See how we break down yard waste into gardener's gold!
