DESCRIPTION:<p>Greensboro Fire, Police, and Guilford Metro 9-1-1 will host the Annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at the Eugene Street Parking Deck on Saturday, September 13 at the Eugene Street Deck.</p><p>This powerful event honors the 343 firefighters and many other public safety personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11. Participants will climb the equivalent of 73 flights of stairs — just as FDNY firefighters did at the World Trade Center.</p><p>Registration begins at 8 am at 215 N. Eugene St. The climb starts at 9 am in front of the Grasshopper Stadium. </p>
