Athletic Facilities
The Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department operates a wide variety of athletic facilities, including tournament complexes, fields, tennis courts, and two specialized indoor sports facilities, Simkins Indoor Sports Pavilion and the Greensboro Sportsplex.

Features and Amenities
The Greensboro Sportsplex at 2400 16th St. offers basketball, volleyball, soccer, hockey, and other sports programs. This 106,000-square-foot indoor sports complex sits behind the former Carolina Circle Mall, off Highway 29 North. Suspended hardwood floors on eight basketball and volleyball courts offer a premier playing surface for both sports. Four state-of-the-art indoor soccer fields are very popular with local athletes. The facility also has an inline roller hockey rink and an outstanding hockey program for people of all ages.
Open Play - We offer open play during normal operation hours for basketball, soccer, volleyball, and hockey. Please call ahead for availability.
