City Arts & Events Premiers ‘Gate City Chatter’ Podcast About Greensboro's Creative Culture
The City Arts and Events section of Greensboro Parks and Recreation has launched a new weekly podcast called “Gate City Chatter,” a show that celebrates Greensboro’s creative class.
Parks and Recreation’s Arts and Event superintendent Josh Sherrick hosts the podcast along with Matt Felts, section project leader. Together they interview local event producers, artists, City employees, and community-makers for a deep dive on their social impact on Greensboro. Gate City Chatter also provides updates on community events and cultural happenings. The podcast is recorded at Press Play Studios in the Greensboro Cultural Center.
“Podcasting is yet another way to reach and interact with the community we are serving here in Parks and Recreation. We have so many incredible, creative folks choosing to make their impact right here in Greensboro – it’s only logical to help them tell their story and get the town excited about it,” Sherrick said.
Gate City Chatter episodes are available on iTunes, Soundcloud, and Stitcher. Follow the show on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram @GCChatter. For more information or to recommend a guest, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
