City Seeks Food Trucks and Push Cart Vendors for Garden Events
Greensboro Parks and Recreation is seeking food truck and push cart vendors for a series of special Picnic in the Garden events at the Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden, 1105 Hobbs Rd. Vendors can register online to be one of four lunchtime food vendors from 11 am to 2 pm, June 9, July 14, August 11, and September 8. It is $20 to reserve a spot.
Parks and Recreation will provide a free 220 volt, 50 amp electrical hookup for up to three food truck vendors, on a first-come, first-served basis. This garden has up to 1,200 daily visitors on Saturdays in June through September. In the event of inclement weather, Parks and Recreation will accommodate food vendors with new dates or refunds. As part of the promotion of this event, Parks and Recreation will broadly advertise the vendors’ offerings.

June 9: Kona Ice
July 14: Baconessence, Ghassan’s, Chirba Chirba
August 11: Ghassan’s, Baconessence, Kona Ice
