City's Water Resources Department Hosts Water Celebration May 12

Post Date:05/10/2018 9:05 AM

The City's Water Resources Department honors National Drinking Water Week with a Water Celebration from 1-3 pm Saturday, May 12, downtown. Children can get their hands wet while doing water-related experiments and activities on the first floor of Greensboro Cultural Center, 200 N. Davie St., and all ages can have a seat at the "Water Bar" at the adjacent LeBauer Park to wet their whistle and hear about where the City's water comes from.

Also at the park will be storytelling and craft activities and a chance to get up close and personal with the City's trucks that scope out drain and line blockages in our underground water system.
