
Darlene J. McClinton
Darlene McClinton was born in Greensboro and McClinton is an accomplished visual artist, art educator, scholar, and a rising star in the Greensboro area. She received her undergraduate degree in visual art and design from NC A&T and her Master of fine arts from Howard University. McClinton is best known for her paintings, digital photography, and murals, which are displayed throughout Greensboro. She has exhibited locally and nationally and has created six historical murals in North Carolina. McClinton is a former art teacher for the D.C . public schools and teaches Visual Arts at NCA&T. She is also co-owner of The Artist Bloc, “Where Creative Minds Meet," and the Chief Engagement Office for ArtGreensboro. Program Schedule
Dudley Heights residents are invited to join McClinton for an interactive and creative exploration of ideas and feelings about what HOME means to you. Events will take place at 6:30pm - 8:00pm on the first Tuesday of each month starting September 6 at Barber Park Event Center located at 1502 Barber Park Dr.

A celebration event will be held on April 15, 2023, at The Poetry Cafe 8-10 pm in the Van Dyke Performance Space.
