City Continues Conversation About Community Land Trust with March 19 & 21 Zoom Meetings
Post Date:03/06/2024 9:11 AMThe City’s Housing and Neighborhood Development Department (HND) is hosting two Zoom meetings March 19 and 21 to update residents, lenders, and community partners about progress in establishing a Community Land Trust (CLT) in Greensboro.
A representative from City contractor Grounded Solutions Network will talk about the feasibility of a CLT in Greensboro and the process for developing a community business plan to move forward. Meeting participants will be encouraged to give feedback on the information.
The goal of a Community Land Trust in Greensboro is to create permanent affordable housing for low- to moderate-income families on developed and undeveloped parcels of land in redevelopment and reinvestment areas.
