Folks who call South Greensboro their home – whether they live, work, shop or frequently visit the area – are invited to the kick off of the South Greensboro Plan on Thursday, September 12.
From 4-7 pm, City staff will conduct South Greensboro’s Vision Workshop at TMSA Triad Elementary School, 600 Industrial Ave. Participants may join discussions and exercises designed to identify key issues and opportunities for those living and working in this growing part of the Gate City. This is the first in a series of meetings in this planning process.
The ultimate goal is for City staff and residents to plan jointly South Greensboro’s future.
The workshop is part of the City’s effort to work with area residents to study critical issues and creative solutions to improve South Greensboro’s quality of life and guide its future growth. Once developed and adopted in late 2025, the South Greensboro Plan will help City staff, residents, business owners, and decision makers lead the way into a more prosperous, safe, and closely-knit community.
