Residents, business owners, and frequent visitors of South Greensboro are invited to attend the Planning Department's upcoming Environment and Economics Workshop. The event will be held on Saturday, January 18 at the Brown Community Recreation Center, 302 East Vandalia Road, from 11 am to 2 pm.

This workshop provides engagement opportunities for all ages, including a community garden tour, nature walk, career support opportunities, and more.

Attendees will be able to contribute to discussions and participate in hands-on activities aimed at improving the natural areas and economic state of South Greensboro.

The discussion is part of the Planning Department's process to develop a more prosperous, safer, and closer-knit community in South Greensboro. Department leaders are working to complete a draft for review by late summer.

Snacks and refreshments will be available for participants.
