The Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department hosts Geocaching 101 from 5:30-6:30 pm on Wednesday, July 23, at Woven Works Park, on the corner of Lindsay Street and Murrow Boulevard along the Downtown Greenway. Parking is available at 401 Cumberland St.
The introductory workshop is open to all ages and teaches participants the basics of geocaching – an outdoor recreational activity where people hunt for hidden stashes of objects – including etiquette, terminology, and how to use the free geocaching app. There will be a handful of temporary geocaches setup for individuals to apply their new knowledge of the hobby.
