The Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department’s Youth Leadership Greensboro program is now accepting applications for the upcoming 2025-26 school year through September 29.

Rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors will participate in six sessions focusing on topics impacting the Greensboro/Guilford County community. Each month’s session runs from 9 am to 3:30 pm and will meet at a Greensboro Parks and Recreation facility. Sessions are traditionally held on Wednesdays. 

Participants will also complete a small group project and volunteer to gain a deeper understanding of the issues and how they can advocate for solutions. Full participation and attendance are key, and a requirement, to the success of the program and graduation.
