Registration for Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department’s upcoming Smart Start Basketball season is now underway through August 29.

The program, which is for ages 3-5, consists of six skill-building sessions from 6-7 pm, on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday beginning the week of September 8 and ending the week of October 13. Session locations may vary.

During the sessions participants will develop proper motor skills without the pressure of competition or the fear of getting hurt, which will allow them to enjoy and succeed in youth sports in the future. Parent/guardian participation will be required during the program.
