The Greensboro Youth Council (GYC) will host an open house from 5:30-6:30 pm on Thursday, August 14, at the Greensboro Central Library, 219 N. Church St.
The event is a chance for those interested in GYC to learn more about the program – including its mission, membership process, and opportunities to earn hours toward service awards, scholarships, and more. There also will be a chance to meet the Teen Executive Board.
GYC exists to develop leadership and volunteer opportunities for Guilford County high school students through the planning and implementation of unique youth-run programs that benefit and serve the community. For more information about GYC, visit https://www.greensboro-nc.gov/gyc.
