Creative Greensboro and the Greensboro Public Library have partnered to launch the Greensboro Culture Pass Program – a citywide initiative aimed at showcasing and expanding access to free cultural and artistic events hosted by local creatives and organizations this summer. This pilot program runs through October 31.
“While many of these events are already free, the Culture Pass offers a new way to showcase Greensboro’s vibrant arts scene and inspire greater community participation,” said Jocquelyn Boone, Creative Greensboro’s chief creative economy officer. “Our goal is to bring more visibility to the creative sector, and what better place to access this information than your local library, which already provides a wealth of enriching activities for the whole family?”
Through these partnerships, residents of all ages can enjoy greater access to arts, culture, and educational opportunities. A limited number of passes are available at no cost to patrons at the Central Branch Library, 219 N. Church Street. Passes may be picked up at the reservation desk upon request.
If you offer free cultural programming and are interested in participating in the Culture Pass Program, contact Jocquelyn Boone at Jocquelyn.boone@greensboro-nc.gov or call 336-373-7998.
