The Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department will host an All-Girls Basketball Clinic and a Women’s 3x3 Basketball Team Tournament on Saturday, October 25, at the Greensboro Sportsplex, 2400 16th Street.
The All-Girls Basketball Clinic will take place from 10 am to 12-noon, and is open to girls ages 8-13 years old. This free clinic will teach the fundamentals of basketball and participants will get to apply them in game-like scenarios. Registration is required.
Later that day the Women’s 3x3 Basketball Team Tournament will start at 1 pm and run through 5 pm. This event is for women 16-and-up, and will feature teams of up to five players participating in a double-elimination tournament.
Registration is for preformed teams; however, each team member will be required to register to play. For those individuals without a team, there is a free agent option. If enough free agents sign up, then a free agent team will be formed.
