Winter Adult and Youth Sports Leagues, Youth Lacrosse Clinic Registration Now Underway

Registration is open for the Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department’s men’s 45-and-over 3-on-3 basketball, women’s (18+) 3-on-3 basketball, youth basketball, and youth cheer leagues, as well as the department’s youth indoor lacrosse clinic. League Details

  • Indoor Lacrosse

    Ages: 5-13 (Beginners Clinic, Experienced Co-Ed Clinics), 14-18 (Competitive Co-Ed Clinics)
    Dates: January 7, 14, 21, and 28, 2026; 6:30-7:30 pm
    Cost: $40 per participant
    Registration: Visit Youth Indoor Lacrosse Clinics

    Locations: Greensboro Sportsplex, 2400 Sixteenth St.

     

  • Men’s 45-and-Over 3-on-3 Basketball

    Ages: 45+

    Dates: Mondays and Wednesdays from January 5 through February 18, 2026; 6:30-9:30 pm

    Cost: $75 per participant

    Registration: Visit Men’s 45 and Over 3v3
    Locations: Greensboro Sportsplex, 2400 Sixteenth St.

     

  • Women’s 3-on-3 Basketball

    Ages: 18+
    Dates: Mondays and Wednesdays from January 5 through February 18, 2026; 6:30-9:30 pm
    Cost: $75 per participant
    Registration: Visit Women’s 3-on-3 Basketball

    Locations: Greensboro Sportsplex, 2400 Sixteenth St.

     

  • Youth Basketball
    Ages: 5-16 (age groups vary)
    Cost: $75 per participant
    Dates: January through March 2026
    Registration: Visit Youth Basketball

    Locations: Brown, Craft, Griffin, Glenwood, Lindley, Lewis, Leonard, Peeler, and Warnersville Recreation Centers

     

  • Youth Cheer
    Ages: 5-13
    Cost: $75 per participant
    Dates: January through March 2026
    Registration: Visit Cheerleading
    Locations: Brown, Craft, Griffin, Glenwood, Lindley, Lewis, Peeler, and Warnersville Recreation Centers

 

First-time youth basketball and cheer participants must register in person at their neighborhood recreation center during normal business hours. Parents or caregivers must show a copy of the child’s birth certificate and a Parents Association for Youth Sports (PAYS) membership card. To receive a PAYS card, parents or caregivers must watch a video and pay a $5 fee. Visit the National Alliance for Youth Sports website for more information.

The Parks and Recreation Department is currently recruiting cheer and basketball coaches.
