About the Artist 

Iniobong Roberts is a creative director, stylist, and filmmaker whose work merges storytelling with visual narratives. With a background in Psychology and Media Production from UNC-Chapel Hill, she explores the emotional depth of fashion and editorial storytelling. Her projects have been featured in Photo Vogue and supported by grants including the Frances L. Phillips Travel Scholarship which allowed her to draw inspiration from global cultures. Rooted in her faith, which serves as the backbone of everything she creates, Iniobong curates visual stories that bridge authenticity and imagination, capturing the essence of identity, style, and human connection.

FRAGMENT is a reinterpretation of the infamous Japanese Harajuku fashion through a bold fusion of patterns, textures, and layering. The three subjects embody an expressive mix of preppy, punk, and streetwear influences, with ties, oversized collars, and unexpected textures creating a visually dynamic clash of styles. The muted green-toned backdrop contrasts with the rich hues of their outfits, emphasizing the raw, rebellious energy of self-expression. FRAGMENT captures the essence of individuality and subcultural influence, emphasizing fashion as a form of cultural storytelling.
