Celebrate Jane Austen’s 250th birthday from 3-4:30 pm, Saturday, December 13, at the Glenn McNairy Branch Library, 4860 Lake Jeanette Rd. A Little Tea, If You Please will feature crafts and games, puzzles, scones, cucumber sandwiches, and, of course, tea!

Austen’s works often reference tea as a comforting, recuperative beverage and a focal point for social gatherings. A Little Tea, If You Please is an opportunity to meet and mingle with fellow Jane Austen fans. Guests are encouraged to wear fancy hats and Regency Era fashion.
