This free program is a series of lecture-styled classes designed to teach participants about how major aspects of City government affect the quality of life for Greensboro residents. Sessions include information on topics ranging from police to economic development to leadership.
Classes are open to Greensboro residents who live within the corporate limits of Greensboro, are at least 18 years old, and can successfully pass a background check. City Academy will run over the course of 13 weeks – from Thursday, February 19, through Tuesday, May 19 – with a graduation ceremony taking place at a Greensboro City Council meeting.
