The City of Greensboro’s Community Safety Department requests proposals to strengthen community-led anti-violence efforts. Funding is provided through the Department of Justice’s Bureau of Justice Assistance Community Violence, Intervention, and Prevention Initiative site-based grants.
Proposals must demonstrate how they fit into one or more of the following categories:
- Group Violence Intervention and Interruption
- Education and Skills Building
- Community Cohesion & Engagement
- Awareness/Outreach
- Community Responses to Violence
- Direct Intervention Activities
- Restorative Justice
- Healing/Mental Wellness
- Reentry Services
- Victim Services
Proposals are due by 5 pm on Wednesday, February 25. All applicants must attend an RFP workshop, which will be held virtually at 6 pm on Wednesday, February 4.
