A public hearing will be held at the February 17 City Council meeting, which begins at 5:30 pm, for discussion about the City's FY 2026-2027 Annual Action Plan. Interested persons can attend the public hearing in the City Council Chamber, second floor of Melvin Municipal Office Building, 300 W. The Annual Action Plan outlines how the City will use anticipated US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funding to address affordable housing and community development needs in Greensboro and Guilford County, from the following programs: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Home Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA).

The 2025 Consolidated Plan and 2025 Annual Action Plan is available for review at www.greensboro-nc.gov/ConsolidatedPlan. Please call 336-373-4636 if hard copies are required.

The City of Greensboro intends to submit the FY 2026-2027 Annual Action Plan to HUD on or before May 15.
