The Greensboro Fire Department, in partnership with local public safety agencies and community partners, will host First Responder Friday on Friday, June 12, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm at Barber Park, located at 1500 Barber Park Dr. in Greensboro.
Formerly known as “Fire Fighter Friday,” this free, family-friendly event gives children and families an opportunity to meet local first responders, explore emergency vehicles, participate in safety activities, and enjoy games, giveaways, food, and more.
Representatives from the Greensboro Fire Department, Greensboro Police Department, Guilford County Sheriff’s Office, Guilford Metro 911, Guilford County EMS, and Safe Kids Guilford County will be on-site engaging with the community and promoting public safety education in a fun and interactive environment.
