New hours for the NCWorks Career Center in High Point, as well as Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program services, take effect on Wednesday, August 12.
The career center at 607 Idol St. will be open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday and from 8:30 am to noon on Friday. Individuals may find job-search and resume-development assistance at the center, plus other employment resources.
Specialized WIOA staff is available at the center from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. WIOA services include job-training assistance and career coaching to help individuals strengthen skills and pursue employment opportunities.
