City crews are repairing the Lake Daniel Clearwell, and City contractors will begin trimming and removing surrounding trees identified by the City arborist on Tuesday, September 8.
The tree maintenance is expected to last three to seven days. The work should not affect vehicular traffic, but pedestrians are asked to avoid the area while the maintenance is completed.
Clearwells are used in the process to treat drinking water. A tree fell on the Lake Daniel Clearwell in late July, but water quality was not impacted.
