GREENSBORO, NC -- (April 16, 2009) – Do you know your rights and responsibilities under the new Rental Unit Certificate of Occupancy (RUCO) ordinance, which requires all residential rental property in Greensboro—occupied and vacant—to be inspected prior to leasing? If not, or if you just want to learn additional information, join a group of housing experts for a Housing Forum on Monday, April 27, from 6-8 pm at the Warnersville Recreation Center, 601 Doak St.
The panelists include Dan Reynolds, manager of Codes Enforcement for the City of Greensboro, Lisa Dellinger of TREBIC, Jason Austin of Greensboro Landlord’s Association and representatives from the Greensboro Housing Coalition. They will discuss the RUCO ordinance, responsibilities of tenants and landlords, fair housing rules and much more.
