With the 77th National Folk Festival taking place throughout downtown Greensboro September 8-10, several area roads will be closed and access to City parking decks will be altered. But, the City is offering a variety of simple ways to get to, from and around the event.
Review this map for a full look at road closures and traffic changes for the duration of the festival. For parking in any one of the City’s three decks, visit this Web page and read the “Priority Festival Parking” section.
Want other ride and park options for visiting the festival? Try one of these free alternatives:
• Trips at any Greensboro Transit Authority bus stop
• Park at the War Memorial Stadium and ride the designated festival bus
• Bike to downtown and park in the ground level of the Davie Street Parking Deck
• Take a rickshaw.
Learn more about these options online by looking for the “By GTA Bus,” “Park & Ride,” “By Bicycle,” and “Rickshaw” sections on that Web page.
