Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week
The purpose of MED Week is to provide business development opportunities to firms and celebrate the accomplishments of minority and women business enterprises during the past year.
As part of this year's MED Week, the City is now accepting nominations for outstanding achievement awards in the local advancement of minority- and women-owned businesses. Fill out and submit this online form to make a nomination.
2018 Med Week Event Schedule
6-8 pm Monday, September 24 - Shmoozapalooza: Networking Event
8:30 am to 7:30 pm Wednesday, September 26 - Development Day.
6-8 pm Thursday, September 27 - MED Week Awards Dinner
|9 am to 12 noon Friday, September 28 - Golf Tournament
Gillespie Golf Course, 306 E. Florida St.
Tickets are $30 per person and must be purchased at M/WBE Office.
Location: Room 149, Melvin Municipal Office Building, 300 W. Washington St.
Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, Mondays through Fridays
Activities are hosted by the City's Minority and Women's Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Office in conjunction with the Greensboro MED Week Committee, comprised of representatives from the City, Guilford County, NC A&T State University, University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and Guilford County Schools, all of which thank these local sponsors for their contributions to this celebration.
