Greensboro, NC
Home MenuLaunched in June 2025, the City of Greensboro Comprehensive Community Safety Plan is focused on violence prevention, intervention, and interruption. Centered on the belief that lasting change requires community-wide collaboration, the five-year plan outlines priorities, action steps, timelines, and progress measures.
Three Pillars of Peace (priorities) serve as the foundation for the strategies and action steps of this plan:
- Co-Production
- Opportunity, Access and Connections
- Holistic Safety
The Community Safety Department will serve as a hub for community partners to co-create public safety solutions.
“This five-year plan was created with the community,” said Community Safety Director Latisha McNeil. “The City and its partners are committed to working collectively to achieve holistic safety for all of Greensboro—on every block, in every neighborhood.”
