homeless boyThe Community Safety Department’s Homeless Services team works to support individuals experiencing homelessness through compassionate, coordinated, and community-based approaches. Our services include outreach, crisis intervention, referrals to shelter and housing resources, and partnerships with local organizations to connect individuals to support. We are committed to enhancing public safety while ensuring dignity, respect, and support for our unhoused neighbors.

People may experience homelessness for a variety of reasons. That's why nonprofit agencies, governments, and concerned individuals work together as community partners in Guilford County to reduce or eliminate homelessness.

To learn more about community partners who are working to end chronic homelessness and for more information on homeless services and providers in Guilford County, please visit the Guilford County Continuum of Care website.

If you are experiencing homelessness, please contact the Coordinated Entry Line at 336-553-2716. For more information, please visit Partners Ending Homelessness.
