City Violence Prevention Request for Proposals
The Community Safety Department (CSD) requests proposals to strengthen community-led anti-violence efforts. Funding is provided through Department of Justice (DOJ) BJA Community Violence, Intervention and Prevention Initiative Site-Based grant funds.
Proposals must demonstrate how they fit into one or more of the following categories:
- Group Violence Intervention and Interruption
- Education and Skills Building
- Community Cohesion & Engagement
- Awareness/Outreach
- Community Responses to Violence
- Direct Intervention Activities
- Restorative Justice
- Healing/Mental Wellness
- Reentry Services
- Victim Services

Proposals are due by 5 pm EST on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.
Mandatory RFP workshop for all applicants will be held virtually Wednesday, February 4 at 6 pm EST. Workshop attendance is required for City funding. To join:
