More About Our Work

Community music ensembles 3 pictures

Our community music ensembles each rehearse weekly and offer a great way for musicians of all skill levels to stay active and connect with others. They include the Philharmonia of Greensboro, Greensboro Concert Band, Choral Society of Greensboro, and the Greensboro Big Band.

Our concert programming includes two popular series’ - each over 40 years in the making. Our summer MUSEP (Music for Sunday Evenings in the Park) series and our winter and spring City Ensemble series. These free concerts feature our community ensembles as well as other local and regional bands.

The Music Studios at Creative Greensboro offer a variety of private lessons to aspiring musicians of all ages. We’re proud to partner with a range of professional instructors in voice, piano, percussion, violin, guitar, and more. In-person and virtual lessons are available.
