Facilities, a division of the Engineering and Inspections Department, is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all City-owned buildings by providing mechanical, structural, and custodial services. 

This division also oversees construction services for the renovation and new construction of city facilities, such as libraries, fire and police stations, and manages a facility energy program.
