No Straw November

Break the plastic straw habit during November...and beyond!

In the past twenty years, we've come to expect plastic straws in every drink, but straws are usually dropped in the garbage with no further thought, and may become plastic pollution. Greensboro is joining and building upon the momentum of waste reduction movements around the world, and make plastic straws a thing of the past.

  1. Join fellow Greensboro residents in saying no to plastic straws in November and beyond, take the pledge today!
  2. Restaurants, bars, and other organizations interested in pledging to reduce their straw use, should fill out this form to receive a No Straw November kit!
  3. If your establishment is not using straws or already using reusable or natural alternatives, please fill out this form and let us know so we can add you to our list.
