Greensboro Fire Department retirees are an important part of our story. The fire department prides itself on the family oriented atmosphere. After retirement, retirees still have ways to connect.

Please use the links below to stay connected.

  • Greensboro Fire Department retirees have a Private Facebook Group dedicated only to retirees. This is a great place for retirees to connect, network about life and share about up and coming events.
  • Every year the Greensboro Training Division hosts a Retiree Day in October where retirees are invited for lunch. Stay connected through email, social media, and regular retiree meetings to know the date and time.
  • The Greensboro History Book Committee is a really great way to get connected and stay involved. Run by retired Chief Larry Cockman, the committee serves to record and document Greensboro Fire Department history.
