HydrantThe Greensboro Fire Department tests City fire hydrants twice per year, usually in April and October. Fire hydrants are tested to ensure they are in working order and have enough water pressure to provide a sufficient flow for fighting a fire.

Problems with fire hydrants are reported to the City's Water Resources Department for repair. The GFD does not maintain or service hydrants.

Questions or issues concerning a fire hydrant(s), may be directed to the City of Greensboro Water Resources Department at (336) 373-2344.
