In March 2023, the commission released its 2022 Women of Greensboro Report, which provides information and analysis gathered from a survey of more than 1,100 female residents.
The CSW oversees the Ruth Wicker Tribute to Women, an interactive exhibit at the Barber Park Event Center that honors the contributions and achievements of Greensboro women.
Starleana Green, Mayor Nancy Vaughan, Julia Walker, and Rachel Wilson were inducted to the Tribute to Women August 26 at the Barber Park Event Center. The induction was part of a luncheon to commemorate Women's Equality Day. Click here for a video recap of the program.
The next CSW meeting will be held online at 6 pm on Tuesday, October 28. See the link to the meeting and the complete 2025 CSW meeting schedule here. All meetings are open to the public and focus area volunteers are always welcome.
