People may experience homelessness for a variety of reasons. That's why nonprofit agencies, governments, and concerned individuals work together as community partners in Guilford County to reduce or eliminate homelessness.

The Neighborhood Development Department administers funding for nonprofit agencies to provide homelessness prevention services, which are funded annually from local and federal grant sources.

Qualified agencies help those who are homeless, or at great risk of being homeless, find or keep safe housing.
