The City of Greensboro's Office of Sustainability has conducted a “Keeping the Green in Greensboro, NC: A Tree Canopy Assessment & Equity Prioritization,” which includes an assessment of how much of the city is covered by trees – research that has not been conducted in Guilford County since 2009.

Memorial Honor Tree Program
The Memorial Honor Tree Program is a partnership between Greensboro Beautiful Inc. and the City of Greensboro. The program offers a unique way to remember family members, honor friends, and celebrate special occasions with the lasting gift of a tree for planting on public property in the City.
