This is not your normal fitness class. Participants will engage in a fun and challenging workout on a secured aqua board. The boards create continuous instability that challenges your balance through a variety of exercises and poses. Its stand up paddle board yoga meets high intensity interval training. Registration required, class is limited to 10 participates.
This program is set to the same beat as our Water Fitness Class, but we customize this experience towards the idea that many of our participants want a stellar workout sans wet hair.
Each water aerobics class includes a warm-up, cardio and strength-training exercises, and a cool down. Expect exercises like water walking, biceps curls, leg lifts, and kick-board moves. You won't be swimming, but we do explore deep water when you are comfortable. This class is set at a high pace intensity but each participant can move at their own pace, burning up to 600 calories per hour.
