After School Our After School Program is run by the Black Child Development Institute to provide parents with an affordable option for child care during the school year. Children ages 5-12 are cared for by first-aid and CPR-certified staff. The program maintains a ratio of one staff member per 15 children. Children are allowed time to complete homework, socialize, and play while they wait for adults to pick them up. The After School Program follows Guilford County Schools' traditional school calendar. Contact Black Child Development for transportation arrangements.
